Both North and West coasts are less than 1 hour's drive away and is convenient for numerous outdoor activities such as white water rafting, sailing, kayaking & canoeing, orienteering, windsurfing and many more.

Guests' facilities include a spacious bedroom with luxury en-suite shower room and a private sitting room with flat screen TV, DVD and multi-fuel stove. Breakfasts include home-made bread, cereals & preserves, eggs from our own hens and honey from our own bees. Other items are locally sourced and organic when available.

The house is accessed via a long, gated driveway. It is a sympathetically modernised stone long house and is packed with character and original features. A picturesque brook runs past the house and the animals kept at the smallholding include hens, ducks, sheep and honey bees. Anyone interested in birds and other wildlife will also appreciate the small, natural woodland and the parts of the grounds that have been reserved for wildlife.

The surrounding farmland offers a good selection of footpaths suitable for all levels and interests.  These peaceful walks include wonderful views from the hill infront of the house, secluded farm land, a natural, untouched bluebell wood  and a rich selection of wildlife.
